Named the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cobragolf.co.uk\/king-3dp-supersport-putter\">King Supersport-35<\/a>, it was made in collaboration with multinational information technology company <a href=\"https:\/\/www8.hp.com\/us\/en\/home.html\">HP<\/a> of Palo Alto, and <a href=\"https:\/\/atwcompanies.com\/parmatech\/\">Parmatech<\/a> of Petaluma. (Parmatech describe themselves as \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/atwcompanies.com\/parmatech\/about-parmatech\/\">a leading supplier of custom manufactured Metal Injection Molding (MIM) components since 1973<\/a>.\u201d Palo Alto and Petamula are both in California.)<\/p>\n<p>The club was available for a limited run starting on November 20th. Business magazine <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/\">Forbes<\/a> claimed that it had sold <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/mikedojc\/2020\/12\/18\/will-2021-be-the-year-3d-printed-golf-gear-goes-mainstream\/?sh=4a74dad81db8\">1000 units within 36 hours of release<\/a>, with the rest of the stock of its left-handed variant selling out 2 days later. In addition, Cobra claimed that the first time their manager of product and innovation Chad DeHart was out with the putter, he posted a score of 75 on a par 72 golf course at Bear Creek, which featured greens designed by former professional golfer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pgatour.com\/players\/player.01869.jack-nicklaus.html\">Jack Nicklaus<\/a>. Cobra are intending to release their partly 3D printed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cobragolf.com\/radspeed-irons\">Radspeed iron clubs<\/a> at the end of January 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Other examples of 3D printing\u2019s use in golf include sports equipment manufacturer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.callawaygolf.com\/\">Callaway Golf<\/a> (also of Carlsbad) and 3D printing specialist <a href=\"https:\/\/titomic.com\/\">Titomic<\/a> of Notting Hill, Australia. <a href=\"https:\/\/titomic.com\/news\/titomic-signs-collaboration-agreement-with-callaway\/\">In May 2018<\/a>, they announced that they would be engaging in a year-long collaboration to develop what Titomec described as \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/titomic.com\/news\/titomic-signs-collaboration-agreement-with-callaway\/\">novel products<\/a>.\u201d This would entail using Titomec\u2019s so-called \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/titomic.com\/titomic-kinetic-fusion\/\">Titomic Kinetic Fusion<\/a>\u201d technology, which they claim 3D prints metal objects faster than any other process in the world.<\/p>\n<p>3D printing is an amazing tool.
